They Just Turn Weird...

The wedding day. Although perfect and beyond amazingly fun. It can be long. Tiring. Stressful. For instance usually you don't get much sleep the night before b/c you have a billion things running through your head like the energizer bunny that just doesn't quit and you are so beyond excited that they day is finally here that you feel like you'll pee your pants. That's not a good feeling to go to bed with.

Then the day comes and you wake up early, hopefully get a coffee, usually forget to eat, and then it's an endless day of getting your hair done, make-up done, nails done, dress on, shoes on, jewelry on, and smiles on.

Oh the smiles. You're glad to smile and you actually can't stop smiling but then the smiling cramps come a long which forces a fake smile. A smile that is permanently stuck on until you literally have to rub it out with your fingers or force yourself to frown.

So it's no wonder why after the big ceremony where usually a wave of emotions hit everyone from tears of joy, well hopefully joy, anxiety, deep love and total gratitude that God made this special person for you that the wedding party flips their switch to become a little crazy.

It even intensifies when you drive this sucker to the reception hall.
I mean people just turn weird and crazy!
You have pregnant women bellying up to the bar...
Groomsmen trying to shoot the bride... The groom already trying to put the vibe out at the bar. It hasn't been even an hour yet! Weird face poses come out, like people forgot how to smile... and the peace sign. Then you try and take a normal picture... and it's next to impossible.
All because we are exhausted and tired from pleasing...
... this girl.
But if I could, I'd do it all over again. Actually I'd want to redo my wedding not someone else's :)
