Crawling... Not So Much

Rylee wants nothing to do with crawling.  And I'm torn with the fact that I like her stationary... less work and the fact that it's a new stage, new adventure. But being a good Mom (well attempting to be) I'm always trying to help her develop new skills.

So I revised a plan.

Mwuh ha ha ha ha ha...

(that's me and my evil plan laugh)

Make her work for her toys...

Well it worked.

Kind of.

I put her down... left the room to do some chores and clean-up, checked in periodically, and came back to this.

The only problem is she never crawled but just rolled from place to place.

Then I tried it again after her morning nap and came back and just saw her sitting there, looking outside, sucking her thumb.

So I just sat next to her and stared with her.
