We celebrated the Dus Christmas this year at our house and had such a wonderful time. We usually do one big outing and this year we went into Minneapolis to The Depot skating. And what a blast it was. And what a beautiful place it was.
I didn't know how this would go with Rylee but it went fantastic thanks to our lovely friends for letting us borrow their daughter's skates at the last minute. Rylee loved skating and didn't want to leave. Mostly she loved having her dad carry her and skate around.
Then Steve made the mistake of doing "airplane" with her and she kept begging for it again... and again... and again... needless to say - Steve was wiped out.
The rest of the weekend was spent just lounging, eating and playing with all the new toys. Rylee absolutely loves her cousins. She still asks for them and that was 2 weeks ago. And Hudson loved all the attention he got. In fact, I almost forgot how to parent after that weekend.
Thanks for a great Christmas Dus Family. We made such wonderful memories and I already can't wait until next Christmas.
