And what's worse is that we were "those" neighbors for a long time.
I hate being "those" neighbors!
But we did it....
We finally mowed our lawn.
Rylee had to take the machete out to hack her way to the swing set so we figured it was about time to dust off the ol' lawn mower and gas her up to welcome in summer.
And since we waited so long, we figured we'd make it a family event. Rylee grabbed her mower and lip gloss and Hudson supervised from the sidelines. I of course sat with the camera and enjoyed watching Steve work.
Thank you summer for finally coming so we could enjoy nights like this.
Who could've thought lawn mowing could be this cute? With the snow now gone, maintaining your lawn throughout the rest of the year could be a challenge if there are some issues such as patches where no grasses grow. From the looks of it, everything seems great; you'd just need to keep it moist on hot days to keep it nice and dandy, and take the lawn mower for a spin when it starts to get unruly. Cheers!
