So many new fun things...

Steve and I have a lot of fun things happening in our life and we don't always get to talk to our family and friends about it all so this is our way of sharing with you. Plus when you live with Steve Dus, every day is an adventure and its fun to share. I'll catch you up to speed quickly and then continue to come back and read up on us!

1. Steve is continuing to go back to school at Augsburg University to be a teacher and is loving it. He's currently doing observation hours at Woodbury High School and is learning a lot from a great teacher there. Mr. Wes.... I don't know his last name :) Steve met Wes when we were down in Sioux City, IA to visit Coach Strand. It never seizes to amaze me how small the hockey world is and how connected they all are.

2. We still live in Cottage Grove, almost 2 years now, and are hosting a 19 year old. Nick plays hockey at Northern Light Junior hockey team. He's from Melrose, WI and Steve coached him in Triple A Blue Devils 2 summers ago. (photo: we took him out to eat at Bonfire in St. Paul for his 19th birthday! We got this Farm boy to try some Calamari...he was super apprehensive about it.)
3. I still work at Concrete Arts but I decided to start up my own company. I've done some freelance work on the side with websites and print graphics. I'm working on getting things going which is super nerve racking yet exciting. More to come on carly d design (hence the blog address) 4. Lastly, and most exciting, and the reason for the blog in the first place ;)
