But tomorrow she turns 11 months and I didn't want to forget about it.
So the update:
- She's crawling... like crazy.
- We treat her like a little puppy dog and say "come one Rylee" as we pat our leg or do the hand motion and then she follows us around the house.
- She found her belly button. Onesies are a real trick. She gets rather frustrated.
- She points to her nose when we ask her where it is. Sometimes she realizes as she's about to point to it that "ohh there's my thumb" and just sucks on it.
- She waves bye bye and hello.
- She gives high-fives.
- When asked what sound a lion makes she "roars" but its quite weak. Even weaker than simbas when he was a cub.
- She gives big gigantic open mouth kisses.
- She gives great big bear hugs when she's in the mood. When not she politely obliges and just leans in.
- As of today, she just crawled up our one step stoop.
- She eats the crib... literally. I've found little brown specks all over her bed and couldn't realize what it was until I saw the chunks of missing paint.
- When playing Where's Rylee and we throw a blanket over her head, she sometimes just sits there for minutes on end until we pull it off and she thinks that's the funniest thing ever. I wonder what would happen if we never would pull it off?
- She eats her toes.
- Is an acrobatic sleeper
- Immediately pulls off her socks, shoes, and hat when we get in the car.
- And she love, love, love, loves books.
I think that's it. That and we love her more and more every day. And wish God would slow down time a little bit.
Happy 11 months Rylee.
