A Little Lightrail and Chris Tomlin

My plan was to having a very relaxing, chill evening last night watching Rylee and Steve play together.  However,  within a 30 minute time span, my plans quickly changed.

As we finished our gourmet evening supper of pizza, a friend texted and said, "Hey want to go to Chris Tomlin's concert tonight for free!?"  At first I was all super lame and not really into it.  I had the perfect evening of devouring cookies in my sweats ready to be a couch potato all planned out.

Then I figured it out.

Real fast.

Ummm... yeah!

Then she put me into a whirlwind and said I needed to meet at this certain house in 30 minutes.  So I did myself up as best I could and headed out the door.

All was going well.  We were on our way with a car full of new faces.  We were only running a little behind schedule.... but we still had to park.

Then came a stupid one way.

Then a Do-Not-Enter sign.

Then a left turn down the do not enter sign.

Then came the realization that this was not a road but was the Lightrail.

Then just about 50 feet behind us was the Lightrail.  And it was MOVING....

AHHHHHH.............

But we made it.  Pulled over. Un-clenched our fingernails from the girl's arm next to us. Regrouped. Took a deep breath and bursted into laughter.

We did finally make our way to park and inside just in time for Chris Tomlin as he was starting to take the stage.  Our nightmares of the Lightrail honking and chasing us down the lane quickly disappeared as the worship music filled our souls.

Plus, we were going to a Christian concert.
God's not going to let anything happen to us, right?
