Easter Weekend

This Easter we didn't go to our families.  Not because we didn't want to, but because it works out better to get together other weekends to celebrate instead.  Steve and I were a little excited about this.  It was sad to miss out and celebrate Christ's conquer over death together but this time we got to stay and enjoy our home church's remembrance and celebration.

There is just something about going to your home church.  One being I'm not stuck out in the commons or narthex b/c Rylee is too rambunctious to even make it past the announcements.  Plus you fear you have those people sitting around you thinking... "Dear Lord! You let them parent like that.?  You let your kid scream like that? Oh my goodness... Look at what her kids just did?"  Yes I know you've all felt that way and you might have even thought it.  So I stay clear and the first peep she makes I'm running like I just stole something to go play with her in another room.  Plus,  I'm determined in every situation in life to not be "those" people.  And I don't even know what "those" people look or act like.

My point being: I was able to enjoy b/c I shipped Rylee off into the children's wing.

With all this being typed my real point in posting this point was to show you Rylee and what we enjoyed over the weekend.  OUTDOORS!!  Yeah to you outdoors.  Finally.

Believe it or not... Rylee actually likes to wear her sunglasses.  I'll admit.  I was "that" mom and put them on just for pure cuteness.  Just like I put bows, flowers, ribbons, and dresses on her.  It may not be practical but I'm taking every opportunity to dress her up like a doll before the years come and I have to endure mismatched socks, unbrushed hair and an outfit that she picked out that looks like a clown.
Then we took out her little car.  My babysitter/neighbor growing up had one of these and we fought over it constantly.  So for each of our baby showers she has given us one!  Such a good idea and so cute.  Plus Rylee absolutely loves it.  She points to it immediatly every time we go outside.

Daddy even got a little daring.  I might have bit my lip, freaked out in my mind, and silently screamed... "What are you doing you crazy man!"  But then I realized how much fun she was having and put the psycho mom back in the closet and chilled out.
