Step In The Right Direction

Yesterday we thought it might be a nice night to stand for the first time all by ourselves! It only took 14 1/2 months but whose counting.

Steve and I have both tried earnestly for the last 2 months getting her to walk much less just stand up by herself, climb up things, walk with us and even force her to let go of our hands which then results in her immediately sitting down and scolding us with a very intimidating scowly face.

But she must have needed to so it all on her own time lime a true independant diva she is becoming bc all of a sudden we were playing and all of sudden we were standing.  So I calmly but hurriedly grabbed the camera and was amazed I even got the shot and sent it to all family as they've been dying for her to start walking. So I reassured them it will happen and at least this is a "step" In the right direction.

Then we returned to our old crawling ways and went to write daddy a love note.
