Steve was offered a new position with his current employer, NAU, down in Rochester MN. Usually if you get offered a promotion you get excited, accept it, and move forward. Well, for some reason this wasn't as easy. This job is exactly what Steve needed as far as a new challenge and even answered prayers for us financially but the major drawback is the amount of time it will take away from his family and the fact that we were thinking we were going to have to move so close to our due date... 9 weeks left! And moving gave me anxiety!
- Find a new house or rental
- Finish the our current projects quickly
- Sell the old house
- Pack up our years worth of stuff
- Find a new church
- Meet new people
- Find new Doctors (which I'm sure Rochester is not short of)
- Find new Dentists
- Move crap in
- Get settled
- Set up nursery
- And hopefully not have the baby while doing all this
Anxiety and lists and to do lists took over my life..
But as always God is good and showed us exactly what needed to be done and what to do. We decided after lots of prayer to stay put for the holidays and fortunately his employer is so graciously working with us and Steve is commuting for the time being. Who's to know what will happen come January or February which gives this planning maniac again anxiety but for now at least the Dus Family is settled into a new life style.
