Adequate?

I think I have one of the most beautiful Mom's out there. Inside and out.

And no this is not sucking up. I do not need any special Christmas presents.

My sisters would probably agree with me. We actually comment quite frequently to make Mom super uncomfortable on how hott she is. One time we even got Mason to yell out "Cute butt Grandma" in Wal-Mart; she never walked away so fast in her life! Then we all just loudly made fun of her wiggle.

Anyways, Mom, Abby and I went Mother of the Bride dress shopping on Friday. I love the way my Mom shops, quick, painless, right to the point and with good style. In 2 hours we got her the dress, shoes, and jewelry. She's all set. I'm not going to reveal the dress she picked but here are a few that were close contenders. Love you beautiful Mom!

Don't worry this would have been in black, we just tried the white one on for size.

Do you ever have those moments of pure silliness after a day of shopping? Moments that usually happen at a restaurant and are rarely funny to those who were not there. Mom, Jena and I use to have these all the time with the other Freiborg Family, Rhonda, Jess, and Aimee after a good, long, grueling 8 hour stint of back to school shopping.

Well we had one again the other day....

Mom, Ab and I went out to eat at Napa Valley Grill in the Mall of America after just 3 hours of shopping but we were exhausted. We set our bags down, which were only a few, and drooled at all the good choices on the menu. Abby was a little nervous whether to go with the Small or Large portion... it's a big decision! So she decided to ask the expert advice of the waiter.

Sir, is the small plate going to be an adequate enough size for me?"

Oh yes, definitely adequate"

We get our plate. Abby looks at her plate in disbelief. The waiter leaves. And all she says staring at her plate for nearly a minute.... "Adequate?!"

And we all burst into giggles and laughs.

Still so funny to me! ... I apologize though b/c I know reading it, it's really not that funny :)
