B-Lining

I had posted that I wonder what B-Lining truly meant. Well, a wonderful old high school friend decided to look it up. Love her. And now I truly feel smarter.

A B line refers to the direction in which a bee flys after gathering nectar. Bees use the sun to navigate their way around and when they are ready to return to the hive they fly in a straight line back. This is why when someone is trying to get to their destination quickly they are said to be "making a B line".
So then I started thinking about other phrases.

I posted that Steve was a good egg. Well what does "to be a good egg" mean. I googled that and didn't really find anything that satisfied my curiosity of where the phrase came from. Just found what it means. Well, duh... I knew that!

A person who is of great standards. Has done something well, or pleased someone.
But I did find this photo. It put a smile on my face. I called it quits and resumed to my normal tasks.
