Baby Girl D is now 22 weeks! Whooo hooo. And even a bigger whoo hooo because I feel great. Besides the little belly sometimes I forget I'm even pregnant!
Steve had to leave early this morning so I was left to myself to try and take a photo. My mirrors were too dirty so I couldn't use those. And I really didn't want to clean them. Then I tried the whole hold your arm out as far as you can, try to find the right angle and shoot. That definitly didn't work. I'm a little wide now for my lens size :) So I found a nice ledge, set the time and just sat there waiting. 10 seconds is a long time!
Oh and yes those are my first pair of maternity pants. Super comfy. Might even have to wear these after Baby D comes. Best part about them.... no zipper. I have a problem sometimes with cows coming out.
Baby D has been experiencing lots of first lately. She's been spoiled this last week.
Her first Christmas Ornament from Grandma Dus.
Her first outfits! Don't they just melt your heart with how cute they are.
Her first present.
And her crib fabric! I'm excited about this one!
And Mom and Dad felt her for the first time. Such an amazing experience. And maybe a little symbolic for Steve.
We were headed home to Onalaska for Christmas and just pulling into town. It took us extra long because we had to stop for me 3 times! Right as we were driving past Steve's old stomping grounds, Onalaska High School, Baby D kicked for the first time. It's like she new exactly where we were :) I didn't feel her much more that weekend until Sunday night when we returned home, unpacked everything, cleaned up and layed down for the night. As I was laying there reading my new book I got, she started moving like crazy. I quickly grabbed Steve's hand, placed it on my belly, and he felt it too!!
One of my favorite memories so far.
