Wine Glass Exchange

Traditions are great. I love traditions. Why because you have something to look forward to, something to top from last year, and something to plan for, for the next year.

One tradition we started last year with my college friends was a Christmas Party Wine Glass exchange. No idea who's idea but love who's idea it was. (quite the tongue twister!)

How does it work?

Every one brings a cute wine glass or a glass of there choice as a present.

I brought this extrememly cute santa wine glass. Was tempted to buy one even for myself. FYI from my favorite store Kirklands. Oh and another FYI, remember that cute little boy from yesterday. Supposedly the nephew that might be my favorite because he says pouder all the time. Well that nephew told me last Saturday after opening presents that I was fat like Santa. Oh the honesty of little ones. :)

Back to the game.

Then we play the dice game. For round one, you go around and roll two dice. Once you roll doubles you get to chose a present, glass, from under the tree to open.

I opened this fancy, Queen of the Night, wine glass. It reminded me of Whitney Houston in the Movie Body Guard. It's a must see. In fact my sisters and I always tried to sing Whitney's songs. We usually shattered glass.

Then for round two, every one gets in a cirlce and there are two sets of two dice. You set the timer at 5 minutes or your choosing and it's off to the races. You keep passing the dice around and if you roll doubles you get to exchange your wine glass with another persons if you choose.

This is actually quite nerve racking. You usually have your eye set on one glass you like. However, this year there were several that were super cute. I had a tough time choosing. But I ended up with a lovely and perfect Naughty and Nice wine glass. Perfect for my personality.

We also had the Zebra Bling Glass, It's the Most Wonderful Time For A Beer Glass, Naughty and Nice Glass, The Chub Glass, Fat Santa's Glass, Feather Boa Glass, Queen of the Night Glass and the Gold Krump It Glass.

All opened and brought by these wonderful people.

Love you all. Thanks for being amazing friends.
