We had Rylee's 18 month check-up yesterday. And man-oh-man... it was exhausting!
For me that was.
She cried from the moment the Dr. walked into the room to the time we collapsed on the floor before it was time to go. Yes, I can see crying when you get shots but that wasn't even the hard part. The checking the ears was traumatizing... who knew lights shining in your ears were so scary. Or even a stethoscope!
But we managed through. Was told everything looks great. Told our child is still growing like a weed and off the charts at 33 pounds and 35 inches long. She speaks very well. But I do need to give her more milk. Well at least I think we are suppose to. It was pretty hard to hold a conversation while a 33 pounder kept climbing on my belly, telling me she wanted to go and begging for a cracker.
Thank goodness our Doctor is the sweetest person ever.
And thank goodness for bribes and crackers. Pretty sure its against all parenting rules but it works pretty well for me :)
