To The Big Cup

We are trying to master a cup these days.  Our Dr. recommended skipping the sippy stage and going right to the cup.

1st problem:  The stupid cup was hard to find!  Turns out Target is to high end and doesn't sell simple cups like these so I went to the Dollar Tree.  Well that place is confusing as all get out with massive amounts of little, tiny, gadget items.  But I finally found these little so called tumblers that are perfect.

2nd problem:  I've really had to work hard at putting my clean freak self away in the closet while my messy, spit and throw things all over child eats.  So when you add on the fact that you hand her a glass with just a tiny bit of water... it usually ends up in her bib, tray or floor.  Or hair.

3rd problem:  It's such a fun toy!  We are either chewing it, flaling it, or amazed by when you scream into it that it sounds so echoey!

But after a few sessions we started to do okay with it.  I've learned to just hand it to her every so often rather than leave it on the tray.  And yes I realize I should have known that from the start.  My brain doesn't always catch on as fast.  At least I can admit that.

 Ohhhh.... a cup!
 I must drink...
... nah I'd rather chew it.
 Hellooooo in there!
 Hmmm....
was that a green bean in my water?
or a tator tot?
 Yep, I'm like way cool.
