Rylee forgave me pretty fast though. She does pretty well at not holding grudges against me. All I have to do is give her her blankie or a cheerio and she loves me again. Like yesterday I'm busy cooking in our tiny whole in the wall kitchen and didn't realize the stealth little peanut was following right behind until I turned around and almost stepped on her whole arm. That incident required both cheerios and a blanket.
But she's a tough one. And she managed payback when she sneezed at me with yogart in her mouth today.
Here are the updates though on how Miss Rylee Sue is growing up so fast:
- She now knows where her nose, ears, mouth and belly button are.
- She still only makes the lion and cow sounds. We've tried others but everything is a lion.
- She knows where baby is... however, she thinks Steve has a baby in his belly too.
- She can pull herself up on everything but wants nothing to do with walking. Even if we hold her hands.
- She loves the word "No."
- When she says yes it's an overexaggerated nod accompanied by a Ah-choo
- She gives sloppy wet kisses.
- When she hugs her daddy and only her daddy she pats his back when he pats her butt.
- She says Ampa for Grandpa and Amma for Grandma
- She crawls both up and down stairs.
- She eats everything in the house but for some reason goldfish and any sweets don't sit well in her tummy.
- She found the monitor.
- No longer needs to be rocked to sleep or given a bottle.
- She'll wave constantly to someone but usually after they've tried super hard to get her to do it and when they've give up and walked away.
- She crawls immediately to the door when she sees her daddy is home from work.
- And now pulls on my pant leg when she wants something. Which is usually when I'm in the kitchen cooking and she wants what I'm cooking.
Happy one year and 13 months baby girl!
